I’d just like to send my thanks to the roofing crew who completed a new roof on our house following a hail storm. I have done roofing myself, so appreciated the effort involved on the steep 12/12 pitched roof. The house and detached garage were done by the crew of four in a very quick 2 days.
We chose a shingle that needed to be done in a random way to look correct and I’m pleased that it turned out looking great. As well, I appreciated not finding nails on the driveway and that the trash was cleaned up and the things moved (BBQ, lawn chairs and so on) were all put back.

Recently your company completed roofing my house and shed, and I’d like to thank you for the clean and efficient job. Although weather provided challenges, I was impressed by the prompt start, even though it involved sweeping snow off the roof! From then until completion of the shed, the job was done quickly; my neighbours and I were impressed by the lack of debris when the job was finished. We were unable to find any of the usual nails and bits of shingles – a tribute to your company’s standards and the success in meeting them!

It was good to put a face to the organization. You have the hands of a musician! When speaking with you the other day, I failed to mention that Brian and the office staff have been equally as fabulous as Glenn and Sterling.
Brian has been my primary contact with Meerkat and a real pleasure to work with. It is largely because of him that I felt comfortable going with Meerkat. He patiently answered my many (and I do mean many) questions. He never pressured me into making decisions. He responded to my emails promptly and gave me a heads-up when he was going to be out-of-town or would be away from the office. He provided me with sound advice, even when it was contrary to my leanings – which I greatly appreciated. Thanks to him, I feel I have made informed choices, and have been very pleased with my decision to go with Meerkat.
The office staff has been great to work with, Lennie, Christine, Bev, and Sarah. They have all been friendly, helpful and willing to share a quick bit of laughter. I really appreciate the effort Lennie, Brian and Bev put into splitting out the invoices by living unit.
Glenn and Sterling have been an absolute delight to work with. They too patiently answered my many questions and gave sound advice. I very much like their attention to craftsmanship and detail. They were up-front when pointing out structural damage or flaws. They were careful to pick up debris that fell in neighbouring yards and careful not to disrupt the tenants in 2812. And they were both personable and worked well together.
I’m sure there are a great many people working behind the scenes keeping the ship afloat. I’d like to thank them too.
Everyone, without exception has treated me with respect and as though I just might have a few brains to rub together and not at all difficult. Please thank them all for making this upgrade to my home a pleasant and satisfying experience for me.

Your company has just completed roofing our home, I just wanted to say how delighted I was with all your staff. Not only the men that did the work, but all the staff in the office. Everyone knew their jobs and made sure the process was seamless.
When we first realized that we needed a new roof, I naturally started asking family and friends who they would recommend. I got a list of who not to use and while this was helpful it didn’t help me in choosing a reliable company to do the work. A friend of a friend recommended your company and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
I have extensive brick work that covers my entire back yard and I’m pleased to report that the crew that did the work on our house were very careful and neat and as a result there was no damage anywhere. The refuse bin was located in our back alley which meant more work for the crew as they had to lay a drop cloth on which to deposit the old tiles and then transfer them to the bin. The yard was cleaned up every night and there was no way to tell we were getting a new roof. The men on the crew were friendly and very polite and did an excellent job of roofing the house and garage. I don’t know much about roofing but I could tell that they definitely did. They answered all of my questions and made sure that I was comfortable with the process.
It’s hard to find good customer service and quality of work now a days, but your company has it in spades. Please don’t hesitate to give our name and number to anyone that wants a reference for your company’s products and services. When we spoke with people that have had their roof replaced they made it sound like they would rather have a filling without freezing than repeat the process. So that is why I’m writing this reference for your company, people should know that when it’s done right there should be no stress or inconvenience to the customer, which is exactly the experience that we had. I live in Langdon and your company is doing some roofing in our condominium complex. I just have to let you know that you have the most polite employees I have ever experienced! You would never guess they were in the construction business.
On one occasion my road access from my garage was accidentally blocked by a shingle delivery. When I told the men I had to get to work – I was late – they were very apologetic, moved the truck quickly to let me out and even came over to make sure I didn’t damage my car backing up around the pallet of shingles behind my garage. The following day someone cared enough to come to my door and see if I was still home, they were getting another shingle delivery and didn’t want to block me in again.
On another encounter, construction waste was left behind and blocked my backdoor pedestrian access. Because it was still there in the morning and we mainly use the back entrance I had to let someone know. When I told another one of your employees, he too was very apologetic and polite, even though it wasn’t him who left the mess behind. He was so apologetic I actually felt bad for telling him. And yes, by the time I got home the mess was gone and my access restored.
Even with something as small as asking someone to help me move one of my flower pots farther out of the way of their work, I was cheerfully accommodated.
And it’s not like they HAD to be nice because I was paying the bill or making the decisions – no business would have been lost had I been brushed off or ignored.
You should be very proud of the positive image your employee’s courtesy creates for your business.
